In 2019, pharmacist and owner of Blyth Healthcare Pharmacy, Mr. Harpreet Kullar, approached Paul Robson, a local serial entrepreneur and marketing expert, with a request to emulate the success Pharmacy2U had in generating new patients for free NHS prescription delivery. Despite initially not knowing about Pharmacy2U, Paul was intrigued by the challenge and, after reviewing their marketing materials, confidently promised to outperform them. Following some back-and-forth on the project details, particularly around the letter’s title which Harpreet was unsure about, Paul convinced him of its effectiveness. This decision proved pivotal as, by 2020, Blyth Healthcare Pharmacy’s monthly prescription items skyrocketed from 10,000 to 16,000, and by the end of 2021, it further increased to 23,000 items per month.

Paul attributes this success to adhering to fundamental marketing principles often overlooked by others, emphasizing that effective marketing should directly contribute to the client’s financial growth. The remarkable results led Harpreet to recommend Paul’s services to his friends, culminating in the official launch of the service in early 2021. In just over a year, Paul’s company, now rebranded as Robson Pharmacy Media to reflect its specialized focus on pharmacy marketing and the growing involvement of Paul’s children in the business, has assisted over 100 pharmacies, all reporting exceptional satisfaction with the service.
