RDC Appraisals is a law firm in Montvale, NJ, and has long been a trusted real estate appraiser for nearly twenty years. The firm offers comprehensive business appraisal services across a range of personal and business matters across Appraisals, Valuations, Consulting, and Expert Testimonies for the real estate, mortgage lending, machinery and equipment, capital asset, divorce, and estate settlement markets.
Need
Having already worked with them on numerous website development SEO and social media campaigns, the firm approached us in the fall of 2021 about designing a new website that would exemplify their commitment to being a firm that delivers “fast, accurate, and reliable results.”
RDC Appraisals isn’t the same firm as it was in the 90s. The firm’s commitment to clients has remained the same, but the firm has grown to a new identity with LLC. The new identity did not reflect it’s present or future, and the website was too slow and cumbersome for modern users. It was time for a change, so they contacted our team.
The government had also set a deadline for businesses to meet web accessibility standards. The firm’s previous website did not meet the accessibility standards.
Solution
A real estate appraisal firm’s website says a lot about them. It demonstrates how much thought a company puts into communicating with its audience and the rest of the world. The web design team collaborated closely with RDC Appraisals to express the firm’s personality, target audience, areas of expertise, and brand. We then worked to create a user-friendly, modern, and appealing website. This project’s focus was on web accessibility. We are pleased to announce that the new website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Level AA requirements (WCAG 2.1).
Here are some of the features we added to the website:
Easy updates: The control is in the hands of the firm’s marketing specialists, thanks to a user-friendly backend. Without assistance from a developer, they may freely publish new blog articles, update and add bios, and change text and graphics.
User-friendly: Designed a fast, secure, and user-friendly website for RDC Appraisals. Special care was taken to ensure that the website met the needs of all of the firm’s audiences, both business and personal.
Responsive Design: The new website is mobile responsive, making it easy to access the site on any device: desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. It now looks great on any device.
Accessible Design: www.rdcappraisals.com was built in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. People using screen-reading devices and visitors with visual or hearing impairments can now easily access the firm’s website. We improved the website’s overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by adhering to web accessibility guidelines.
Inviting Homepage: The new website features compelling CTAs to schedule consultations, a summary of all service offerings, the latest Insights, and Firm News. This provides a great introduction to the firm.
Fast loading: The new website not only loads very quickly but looks fantastic too.
Result
The newly launched site allowed visitors to find what they were looking for, whether they were looking for real estate appraisal services, scheduling a consultation, or information about value-adding services. RDC Appraisals is thrilled to have something that finally accurately represents their company with modern features and a polished appearance.
